Hey, I took my first diagnostic test and got a 152. My parents have paid 6000 dollars for me to have a Masters-Level tutor with the Princeton Review. I am taking the test in June and have already had one tutoring session. On my first diagnostic, I bombed the Logic Games hardcore but did pretty well on the Arguments and Reading Comprehension. Had my LG been on the same level as A and RC, I would've gotten a 164. I have five more practice diagnostics and five more months of tutoring, is a 170+ possible?

Thank you so much for this post! Its the first thing that has made me smile since i got my lsat score (24 hours ago). I graduated from a top university, have a 3.87 GPA and 2 rocking recommendation letters from my professors. Needless to say, as a result of having an average of 166-169 on my LSAT diagnostics, i was shooting for the stars( harvard and yale). I got my score and it was a 158. I dont think i have moved past stage one yet. I am still at the "Crying" phase but, this post has def given me a little shove towards the right direction. Thank you :)

Hey, just got my LSAT score for the February test --156 also. This post really helped me with how I am feeling. 156 is a good solid score..i looked it up and it will get you into quite a few law schools....I guess like you said, it really matters what you want to do and get out of law school.

Congrats. Get some sleep. You will need it. Join toast masters so you can work on your public speaking. If you are already really good at that, work on your technical writing. Law school requires the most precise writing imaginable. You will often have to defend every word. Then go and read some case law, any case law. You will notice the disconnect immediately between what you will be required to do and the opinions.
Get plenty of sleep. Good luck. I found law school to be a wonderful experience, I hope you do too. But it was very tiring.

how funny, I ran out and rented this movie right after my break up. It really cheered me up. At the end you really realize you're better off without the distraction and good and new things dont come unless bad things go first.

Hiya there,

So did you decided yet which law school you will go to? I'm guessing you're in the mid west. I'm from visiting your blog from Cali =) I just wrapped up my personal statement today and an explanatory essay on the side. I get all emotional writing the essays. haha

Thank you so much! You're a doll for saying all these nice things. Often, we bloggers wonder whether or not our words are really helping anybody out there. It's so wonderful to hear that my little blog could have helped relieve a little stress or given someone a chuckle.

Sorry to hear about how stressful the LSATs and everything have been. It's a tough time for everybody, that's for sure, but going through break-up hell does NOT help!

Good luck in the application process! If you've learned anything from my crazy rantings, it's that things really do work out fine in the end, despite the hair-pulling and anxiety in between :)

Hi Lawgirl,

I was just googling LSAT scores and school possibilities and I came across your blog. Just want to say Thank you for sharing your experience. You have left some good pointers for other people drowning in anxiety.

I have just taken the Dec 07 lsat myself and got my depressing but not surprising LSAT score. I will still apply despite how little glimpse of hope I feel. On top of that I had to deal with a break up of a 2 year relationship 7 weeks before the LSAT. It has been a brutal and stress filled past few months.. Now the application process begins for me.

Best of luck to you in your law school endeavor. You sound like you have it all planned and worked out! =)
